We are proud to be members of the Royal Horticultural Society and regularly visit the lovely Hyde Hall gardens and attend
their events. We were awarded 1st prize at the Rayleigh Horticultural Society for entering and displaying a selection
of our garden flowers at their annual Spring Show event.
Rayleigh in Bloom. We fully support our local community by encouraging others to appreciate curb appeal. We are
delighted to announce that our garden won 1st place in 2014, 2nd place in 2015 and now 1st place again for
'Front Garden Design' in 2017. We were also nominated for Anglia in Bloom in 2015 and now again in 2017.
I have been writing a popular gardening column for nearly 2 years which shared my thoughts and design ideas
for The Rayleigh Review Magazine which sadly has now closed. The last issue was March 2017. However I have
just written an article for St Luke's Hospice about my personal journey through cancer. I am currently in
the process of compiling a special gardening book on the therapeutic effects of white flowers with beautiful
full colour photography. I will keep you updated.
We shall again be opening our garden to the public, to raise money for cancer charities through National Gardens
Scheme (Rayleigh). The open days for 2018 are yet to be announced.
